Valerie Hinrichs, Executive Director

Valerie received her Bachelors of Science degree from Purdue University in Child Development and Family Studies.  Valerie has been with BBBSGI since August 2006.  She is currently involved in the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador and a member of the Young Professionals group, volunteers as a CASA (court appointed special advocate) in Hamilton County, serves on the substance abuse prevention coalitions in Hall and Hamilton counties, is a Meth 360 trainer, a member of the Human Services Coalition and a graduate of Leadership Tomorrow class 22.  Valerie lives in Aurora with her husband Bryan, two daughters, Marah & Mikayla and two dogs, Snickers & Moose.  Email Valerie at valerie@bbbsgi.org.

Rhonda Veleba, Development Coordinator

Rhonda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.  Rhonda has been with BBBSGI since July 2007.  She is involved in Chamber Ambassadors, Young Professionals, 2008-2009 Leadership Tomorrow Class, and Merrick County Meth and Addiction Prevention Strategies Coalition.  Rhonda lives in Grand Island with her husband, Aaron who is a 6th grade teacher and coach at Giltner Public School. Tiffany Crouse, Match Specialist

Tiffany has a BA in Human Relations from Doane College. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Management with an emphasis in Leadership from Doane College. Tiffany is an active volunteer at Mourning Hope, in Lincoln, a grief support network for children, youth, teens, and their families. She is also a member of NAMI and an avid volunteer with various other organizations. Tiffany loves to spend time with her husband, her oven (she is an enthusiastic baker) and their three dogs. Tiffany is also inspired by Dr. Seuss, “If you never did you should. These things are fun and fun is good”. 

Lacie Hogan, Match Specialist 

Lacie received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Tabor College. She also received endorsements in Middle School Language Arts and K-12 Special Education from York College. Lacie joined the staff of BBBSGI in November of 2008. She is the children's church director and summer youth musical director at her church in Stockham. Lacie lives in Giltner with her husband Jeremy and two daughters Eliana and Myka. Email Lacie at lacie@bbbsgi.org.

Rose Gonzales, Administrative Assistant. 

Rose has been working for BBBS since January of 2007.  She is the friendly voice that will greet you when you call our office.  Her other job duties include ordering office supplies, being an assistant to the Match Specialist and general secretarial duties.  Rose is the mother of three kids, ages 15, 11 and 7 and she enjoys creating centerpieces for birthday parties and quinceaneras.  Email Rose at rose@bbbsgi.org.
